Immigration to Argentina began several millennia BC with the arrival of cultures from Asia to the Americas through Beringia, according to the most accepted theories, and were slowly populating the continent. Upon arrival of the Spaniards, the inhabitants of Argentine territory were approximately 300,000 people belonging to many civilizations, cultures and tribes. After the Spanish conquest, an abundant amount of immigrants from all over the world arrived in the country. The history of immigration to Argentina can be divided in several major stages: * Spanish colonization starting in the 16th century with the conquest of South America and following colonisation.〔(【引用サイトリンク】format=PDF )〕 * European immigration in the 19th century (mainly Italian, Spanish, and to a lesser extent, Russian) focused on colonization and sponsored by the government (sometimes on lands conquered from the native inhabitants by the Conquest of the Desert in the last quarter of the century).〔()〕 This immigration wave made Argentina the country with the second-largest number of immigrants, with 6.6 million, second only to the United States with 27 million.〔()〕〔()〕 * Mostly urban immigration during the era of rapid growth in the late 19th century (from 1880 onwards) and the first half of the 20th century, before and after World War I and also after the Spanish Civil War.〔()〕 * In the last 20 years, large immigrants crowds arrived to Argentina from Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Central America, the Caribbean, Korea, China, Taiwan, Africa, and from Central and Eastern Europe. == History == 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Immigration to Argentina」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
